February 2011 - DGS has been contracted carry out the planting schemes at The Grace Academy in Coventry and Rotherham Hospital for English Landscapes which will run for the next 11 weeks. January 2010- In what turned out to be the coldest Winter in many a year our Winter gritting and Snow clearance service was placed under enormous pressure to ensure our sites where the facility was required were kept open for business. It was with great pride that we achieved this, not only dealing with severe temperatures but continued heavy snowfalls really made the effort of our teams remarkable and all access to sites were kept clear of ice and snow. Through our direct suppliers we kept a continued supply of winter grit/salt throughout this period which at a time of such a national shortage underlines DGS’s commitment to their clients. Previous News · July 2009 – DGS was awarded a Silver Gilt for their exhibit at Tatton’s RHS show. Please follow link to view. · January 2009 - We have again increased our commercial activity managing sites in Yorkshire and Manchester. · April 2008 – We have further increased our commercial activity managing business parks in Wigan. · March 2007 - We have increased our activity in the Midlands, managing Business Parks in the area. · May 2006 - Contracted by Galliard Homes we completed major landscaping works to The City View Apartments, Manchester City Centre in time for Galliard’s open day on the 3^rd June 2006 · January 2006 - In partnership with Q Park UK we have successfully completed extensive maintenance work to car parks at Manchester Airport Terminal 2. The project was completed ahead of schedule despite a tight deadline, working in adverse weather and constrained by short winter daylight hours. This achievement enabled Q Park to open their car parks on time, and was made even greater as we simultaneously completed contract work on the Airports Freight Terminal
